Braila Barbershop – Converting a Commercial Space into an Elegant and Fully Functional Salon
The transformation of this commercial space into a modern and elegant barbershop was based on the client's clear requirements: maximizing the number of workstations without compromising comfort or regulatory compliance. The project was developed with meticulous attention to technical and functional details, ensuring optimal circulation, clear zoning, and a logical flow for the salon's daily operations.To comply with legal hygiene and equipment requirements, we integrated a dedicated partition for the sterilization area. This includes a sink, a sterilizer, and a space for disinfecting tools, all designed to be discrete yet easily accessible to the staff. The adopted solution delivers a perfect balance between functional necessities and the overall aesthetic of the space. The visual concept was inspired by the Mediterranean atmosphere—a combination of simplicity, light, and natural textures. The color palette relies on warm shades of beige and neutral tones, intended to induce a state of calm and relaxation. The marble-look porcelain tile flooring contributes to a sense of elegance and visual continuity, while the walls and columns are accented with textures that replicate natural stone, bringing depth and authenticity to the composition.The final result is a harmonious, balanced, and welcoming space that conveys a sense of subtle refinement. Every element—from the finishes to the ambient lighting—was chosen to support the core ideas of relaxation and professionalism.
